| ◕ | THE GROUNDS. the grounds consist of the courtyards where students can be seen meandering between classes, the greenhouses where the herbology classes are held, the quidditch pitch for quidditch matches, the black lake where brave students swim & sun, the forbidden forest which is off limits unless you're with a professor, and the groundskeeper's hut where care of magical creatures is held.

| ◕ | SECOND FLOOR. the only real reason people wander to this hall is to meet in private and to see the headmaster. the headmaster's office is on the this floor. an abandoned lavatory is, too. student's sometimes wander here for a private bath. there's also a corridor called the kissing corridor, since it's almost always abandoned.

| ◕ | FIFTH FLOOR. also called, the prefects floor. it is much easier for slytherins and hufflepuffs to get away with mischief because they don't have to pass this floor to get back to their dorms. this floor contains the prefect's lounge and the prefect's lavatory. all reasonably nicer than the other castle facilities. being a prefect is a privilege, after all.

| ◕ | THE TOWERS. it is true, the students who most oft visit the towers are ravenclaws as their dormitories are located here. there's also the owlery for mail delivery, the astronomy tower for those after midnight courses, and a lavatory which is usually used by the ravenclaws.
